2027 GMC Sierra 1500 prototype: fresh design, digital cabin, V8 and hybrid power

General Motors is preparing the next-generation GMC Sierra 1500, with its debut targeted for 2027. Recent road tests gave spy photographers their first clear look at a prototype wearing minimal camouflage.

The images reveal redesigned headlights, a fresh front end with a more aerodynamic bumper and large air intakes, and taillights with a revised shape. The cleaner face hints at an effort to improve airflow while preserving the pickup’s confident stance.
