All the new EVs coming to Europe in 2026: from budget city cars to supercars

Europe’s car market is bracing for a genuine electric surge: 2026 is set to deliver a record wave of new EVs. The lineup ranges from wallet-friendly city runabouts to premium flagships that could set the tone for years ahead. SPEEDME.RU has compiled the full roster.

The story starts with the Volkswagen Group: three budget EVs are entering production — the VW ID. Polo, Skoda Epiq, and CUPRA Raval. All three will be built in Spain and promise up to 450 km of range at around €25,000. Next comes a new-generation Dacia Spring, now based on the Renault Twingo and assembled in Europe — with an expected price of up to €18,000.

Peugeot will roll out a third-generation 208, fully electric on the STLA Small platform, with up to 500 km of range. Smart is bringing back the Fortwo as the electric #2, while Hyundai and KIA are preparing the IONIQ 3, EV2, and EV4 — a clear bid for style and accessibility.

Among the more ambitious entrants are the Volvo EX60 — a midsize SUV with a new-generation battery — and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Electric on the MB.EA platform. BMW plans to introduce a new i3 with up to 800 km of range, while Audi is readying a budget-minded A2 e-tron. The spread shows how quickly the segment is maturing.

And then come the sports cars of tomorrow: Ferrari intends to present its first electric supercar with more than 1,000 hp, and Alpine is preparing a new A110 with electric drive. If these plans stay on track, 2026 looks set to be the EV industry’s busiest year yet.
