Dacia Duster powertrains revamped: stronger hybrids, LPG 4x4, lower prices

Dacia updates Duster powertrains: Eco-G 120, Mild-hybrid 140, Hybrid-G 150 4x4 and Hybrid 155. More horsepower, dual-fuel AWD, and lower prices across trims.

Dacia has rolled out an overhauled powertrain lineup for the Duster, replacing all previous options. The entry-level Eco-G 120 supersedes the 1.0 Eco-G and now puts out 120 hp instead of 100 hp, still matched to a manual gearbox. The starting price drops by €50 to €27,200 for the Essential trim, a small but telling change that keeps the Duster prominent among budget-minded crossovers.

The Mild-hybrid version has been strengthened as well: the three-cylinder 1.2 now delivers 140 hp—10 hp more than before—at €30,000. For those who need all-wheel drive, there’s the new Hybrid-G 150 4x4, capable of running on gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas. Power rises to 150 hp, while the price falls to €35,900 from the previous €37,050. That dual-fuel AWD angle gives the Duster a distinctive proposition within its own range.

Completing the hybrid lineup is the Hybrid 155, based on a 1.8-liter combustion engine and rated at 155 hp. It starts at €31,500, making it cheaper than the outgoing 141-hp version. The refresh spans every trim, with the familiar Essential, Expression, Extreme, and Limited Edition packages remaining on offer. Together, the changes read as a clean sweep aimed at more punch and clearer choices.
