Cadillac unveils Lyriq-V and Escalade IQ EVs in Guangzhou
Cadillac brought two key electric debuts to Guangzhou—the dynamic Lyriq-V and the flagship Escalade IQ. Both ride on the Ultium platform and carry the brand’s current design language with vertical LED signatures and a large, closed grille, a look that reads cohesive and unmistakably Cadillac.
The Escalade IQ is presented as a large electric SUV with a distinctive upright front end and substantial lighting. The brief is maximum comfort: a spacious cabin, seats with extra support, and a big multimedia display all underline its premium standing.
The Lyriq-V adopts a more aggressive body kit, darker lighting elements, and larger-diameter wheels. Inside, a wide curved display unites the instrument cluster and infotainment system. The model adds premium finishes, modern driver-assistance features, and an adaptive suspension, coming across as the more extroverted choice in the lineup.
Both models leverage Cadillac’s Ultium electric architecture, which supports fast charging and adaptive torque distribution. The brand is clearly investing in a broader EV lineup, and these two additions signal the next chapter in its evolution.
Taken as a whole, the Lyriq-V looks poised to join 2025’s premium newcomers, competing for buyers who want a balanced mix of design, technology, and driving dynamics.
