Donkervoort P24 RS revealed: a lightweight, driver-first supercar
Donkervoort has finally set the debut date for its new supercar: the P24 RS will be unveiled on January 24, 2026. It arrives as the long-awaited successor to the F22 and, at the same time, as a salute to the brand’s legends—from the record-setting D10 of 1988 to the D8 270 RS that, in 2006, lapped the Nürburgring quicker than a Porsche Carrera GT.
The company is releasing information sparingly, yet the direction is clear: an emphasis on power, razor-sharp response and an extremely light carbon monocoque. At the center of the project is a new PTC engine. While exact specifications remain under wraps, Donkervoort has outlined three key elements. Taken together, they suggest a machine tuned for immediacy and driver feel rather than spec-sheet chest beating.
First, bespoke Van der Lee turbochargers. These ball-bearing units are designed for rapid spool, strong torque at low revs and minimal lag, so the engine should behave much like a naturally aspirated unit.
Second, an unusual WCAC cooling system from Conflux. The air-to-water coolers are mounted under the hood instead of up front, a layout that improves response, efficiency and weight distribution.
Third, individual exhaust manifolds. And the most intriguing twist: the owner will be able to choose the power level. The company plans to reveal how this option works at the premiere. According to Donkervoort, the P24 RS is set to become the most advanced supercar in the brand’s history.
