KGM introduces Essential special series for Tivoli, Korando and Torres in Germany

KGM is closing out the year by introducing a new Essential special series for its Tivoli, Korando and Torres crossovers in Germany. The brand pairs expanded equipment with notable savings; by its count, the benefit can reach up to €6,400. The most compelling deal is the Torres Hybrid Essential, starting at €32,990. It is KGM’s first hybrid, rated at 204 hp and consuming 6.1 l/100 km under the WLTP cycle — figures that read as convincing on paper.

Despite the sharpened price, the Torres Essential doesn’t skimp on kit. In Hybrid guise it brings LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, tinted windows, a heated steering wheel, power-folding mirrors, Keyless-Go and a 12.3-inch infotainment display, paired with a similarly sized digital driver cluster. For buyers who prefer a conventional combustion engine, there’s a 1.5‑liter turbo with 163 hp, while all-wheel drive is available for an extra €2,000. The specification looks thoughtfully curated, covering everyday needs without excess.

The entry point is the Tivoli Essential from €18,990. In this trim, buyers get heated front seats, a rear-view camera, navigation, an auto-dimming mirror, plus heated, power-adjustable exterior mirrors. The cabin features a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 9.2-inch multimedia screen. The Korando Essential, priced from €22,990, adds 17-inch wheels, heated seats and a full set of electronic driver aids — a sensible bundle for daily duty.

Every model in the series comes with safety tech such as automatic emergency braking (AEBS), lane keeping, forward-collision warning, traffic-sign recognition and driver fatigue monitoring. The Torres additionally gains blind-spot monitoring and a rear cross-traffic alert, rounding out a reassuring roster of assistants.
