2026 Cadillac CT5 V-Performance package revealed in China
The SAIC-GM joint venture has unveiled a new V-Performance package for the 2026 Cadillac CT5 at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The bundle is aimed at boosting interest in the sedan on the Chinese market and brings a set of sharp visual upgrades.
The centerpiece is a Hurricane Matte Gray finish developed with nanomaterials and applied in eight layers. The company notes enhanced resistance to aging for the coating. Red Brembo brake calipers with V-Series branding and a dedicated red key complete the look—details that give the CT5 a more purposeful presence without shouting about it.
There are no mechanical changes. In V-Performance form, the CT5 uses the 2.0-liter LSY turbocharged engine rated at 233 hp, paired with a 10-speed automatic. The package is offered exclusively with the Track Performance Edition, which includes Magnetic Ride Control, an eLSD differential, and more powerful brakes. Linking the appearance pack to meaningful chassis hardware helps the car feel cohesive rather than cosmetic.
The package is priced at 8,000 yuan, added to the Track Performance Edition’s base price of 256,900 yuan. For buyers cross-shopping sport-oriented sedans, this CT5 spec makes a clear case: fresher styling, proven underpinnings, and just enough attitude to stand out.
