2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ and IQL add a chilled console and more

Cadillac has broadened the equipment list for its electric Escalade IQ and the extended Escalade IQL. The headline change is the return of a refrigerated compartment, previously reserved for the gasoline versions—a small but telling nod to the model’s traditional sense of luxury.

The new RPO CLR cooling module sits beneath the front console and can be fitted at the factory or supplied as a dealer accessory. The compartment holds 6 liters and maintains a fixed temperature of 3°C. It fits up to five 500-ml bottles, and features dual-sided doors plus interior lighting. The option is priced at $1,750 before installation. The fixed setting should keep drinks properly chilled, even if an adjustable range would offer more flexibility.

Beyond the fridge, the 2026 models add nine paint choices, new 22-inch wheels, and revised trim names unified with the Escalade IQL—changes that tidy up the lineup and make configuration more straightforward.

For 2026, the Escalade IQ uses two electric motors with up to 750 hp and a 205‑kWh battery, delivering a driving range of up to 740 kilometers. Pricing starts at $129,795, while the IQL begins at $132,695. Production takes place at GM Factory Zero, underscoring the SUV’s flagship ambitions.
