Skoda Vision O teased: an electric wagon concept for IAA Munich
Skoda has shared new details about the Vision O concept ahead of its debut at the IAA in Munich. The company is sticking with a familiar tactic, revealing the car in stages through teasers and short clips—an approach that still does a good job of building anticipation.
In the released video, the body shows disciplined lines and slim lighting elements front and rear. The so‑called “suicide doors,” meaning doors that open against the direction of travel, draw particular attention, though this feature is unlikely to reach series production. The design clearly echoes the Vision 7S, which previously set the brand’s new direction.
Vision O is presented as a forerunner to an electric counterpart of the Skoda Octavia Combi and comes across more as a wagon than an SUV. Its length is expected to be about 4.7 meters, roughly 25 centimeters shorter than the Volkswagen ID.7. The concept will be part of Skoda’s expanding lineup of electric cars and could be among the new arrivals at auto shows in the coming years.
