2026 Mazda CX-30 Canada pricing, trims and new features
Mazda Canada has announced pricing and updates for the 2026 CX-30, which will be offered in six trims: GX, GS, GS Kuro, GT, GT Turbo, and GT Kuro (Turbo). Pricing ranges from $29,300 for the entry-level GX to $41,350 for the range-topping GT Kuro with a turbocharged engine.
Most versions of the 2026 CX-30 are equipped with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder delivering 186 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The GT Turbo and GT Kuro (Turbo) step up to a 2.5-liter turbocharged unit rated at up to 250 horsepower and 430 Nm. On paper, the standard engine should comfortably cover daily driving, while the turbo variants are aimed at those who prefer stronger, more effortless acceleration.
Every 2026 CX-30 comes with a six-speed automatic transmission, G-Vectoring Control Plus, and the Off-Road Traction Assist hill-start aid. For 2026, Mazda adds a limited-slip differential and revised dampers across the lineup to improve ride quality and traction—an addition that stands out for its driver-focused character.
The GX trim at $29,300 includes heated front seats, the Mazda Connect infotainment system with an 8.8-inch display, cloth upholstery, 16-inch alloy wheels, and the i-Activsense safety suite. The latter bundles radar cruise control with Stop & Go, lane-keeping assistance, and blind-spot monitoring, covering the essentials without fuss.
New for 2026, the GS Kuro Edition at $34,400 distinguishes itself from the GS with black exterior accents, including gloss-black Mazda emblems, roof rails, and 18-inch wheels. Inside, it features white leatherette seats with gray inserts, a power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory, a sunroof, and keyless entry. This trim also offers cruise control and traffic jam assist, and the darker styling should appeal to buyers looking for a touch of drama while keeping the overall look restrained.
