Kia Vision Sedan teaser hints at an electric GT revival

Kia is tapping into nostalgia and curiosity, rolling out social-media teasers of a car it refers to as the Vision Sedan. In industry shorthand, the word vision almost always signals a concept—a design study that might evolve into a production model or simply preview styling and tech to come. Yet the silhouette does a lot of talking on its own: a low nose, a long arcing roofline, and a short tail hinting at a comeback make it read like a grand tourer at heart, echoing what once made the Stinger GT so appealing.

The intrigue is also fueled by earlier chatter. In 2024, leaks surfaced in the media about a project referred to as EV8, said to be aimed at filling the gap left by the Stinger and the larger K8 sedan, with a rough target of 2026. Later, reports suggested the plan might have been reconsidered or even put on ice—so against that backdrop, this teaser reads as a possible return to the idea of a quick sedan, now in an electric format.

Judging by the body shape and details—split lighting, an emphasis on aerodynamics, and very clean surfaces—it most likely points to an EV. Kia, however, isn’t sharing a name or any specifications yet, offering only the promise of a look into the future.
