Mahindra to unveil XUV 7XO and updated Scorpio N in 2026
Indian automaker Mahindra plans to unveil the XUV 7XO SUV, along with a refreshed Scorpio N, in 2026.
Mahindra XUV 7XO
Four years after it went on sale, the Mahindra XUV700 is heading for a mid-life update under the XUV 7XO name. Camouflaged test mules point to a refreshed look focused mainly on soft surfaces. The front end appears crisper thanks to a new grille with larger air intakes, while the headlights switch to a two-piece layout. The brand’s C-shaped DRLs seem to keep their outline but look sharper, and a LED light bar may be added. Taken together, the tweaks should give the face a cleaner, more assertive presence.
At the rear, the XUV 7XO adopts new tail-lamps that follow the updated theme. Expect revised bumpers and new wheels with improved aerodynamics. The biggest change is inside, where a triple-screen setup—borrowed from the brand’s fully electric SUVs—takes center stage and effectively resets the cabin’s tech feel without overcomplicating it. Powertrains are expected to carry over, as will the choice of six- or seven-seat configurations, a pragmatic move that keeps the core appeal intact.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Facelift
The Scorpio-N is set for minor updates in 2026. Spy shots indicate changes to the lighting, trim details, and wheel designs. Inside, it will gain a 10.25-inch infotainment display from the Thar Roxx, along with a few additional interior touches. The 2.0-liter petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engines are expected to remain unchanged, with an all-wheel-drive option continuing for the diesel. It looks like a measured refresh that tidies up the design and tech while preserving the proven mechanical package.
