MOMO Competition 350 Japan Limited Edition 2026 unveiled at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026
A new limited-edition MOMO steering wheel has been announced in Japan: the Competition 350 Japan Limited Edition 2026. The model has been prepared by distributor Rears and will be shown at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, which runs January 9–11, 2026. The launch marks 50 years of MOMO sales in the Japanese market and opens a new brand initiative called the YEAR Model.
The 2026 theme is the “horse”—a nod to the Eastern zodiac and to the historical chain of horse, carriage, and automobile. With that, the design leans into a Japanese context and a return to origins. The wheel measures 350 mm in diameter. Its signature flourish is a light gray leather rim—described as a new color for MOMO—paired with dark gray stitching. The spokes carry special markings: on the front, horseshoe and competition-themed motifs; on the back, a serial number alongside eight horseshoes. The restrained palette should flatter understated cabins, while the detailing adds a touch of ceremony without shouting about it.
Made in Italy, the wheel will be sold exclusively in Japan in a run of 199 units. Pricing is set at 66,000 yen. Orders open on December 25, 2025, the official release is scheduled for January 9, 2026, and customer deliveries will follow in sequence after January 13. With such a tight allocation, collectors are likely to move quickly.
