This time the record tree run was captured in the latest Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: with a decorated tree strapped to the roof, the supercar was wound up to around 315 km/h, as reported by the automotive outlet 32CARS.RU.

In essence, it has turned into its own straight-line sport: take the quickest road‑legal machine you can find, turn it into an aerodynamic paradox with garlands and a tree, and then see where physics ends and common sense steps in. Absurd on paper, irresistible on video.

Choosing the ZR1 feels natural. The 2026 model-year version carries a 5.5‑liter flat‑plane V8 with two turbochargers, a claimed 1,064 hp, and an eight-speed transmission. The car in the video wears the ZTK package with a large rear wing: extra drag for top speed, but a helpful safety margin for stability at that pace. Even so, the real spoiler sits up top—an approximately 1.5‑meter tree with lights that turns the roof into a ready-made air brake.
