Xpeng P7+ EREV: 2026 range-extender sedan spotted with key specs
Xpeng is expanding its EREV portfolio, lining up a 2026 debut for the P7+ sedan with a range extender. Even before its official unveiling, the car has been spotted on public roads: the leak indicates the extended-range version keeps the familiar silhouette of today’s P7+ BEV, while adopting targeted tweaks for its new powertrain. From a distance, the proportions remain unmistakably P7+.
The key change up front is a reworked lower bumper with larger active air channels. They are designed to improve cooling for the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (1.5T), which in the EREV setup serves purely as a generator. At the rear, the lights move to a ring-style signature with a centrally integrated brand letter or script, plus an additional blue light for the driver-assistance systems. The rear bumper is new and now finished in body color, while the glass-mounted ducktail remains. A P7+ power ultra badge sits on the lower right of the tail.
In terms of size, the P7+ EREV grows slightly: 5071 x 1937 x 1512 mm with a 3000 mm wheelbase—effectively a 5.1-meter sedan. Curb weight is listed at 2160 kg.
Powertrain specs are straightforward: the 1.5T produces up to 110 kW, and the electric motor is rated at 180 kW (241 hp). A 49.2 kWh LFP battery delivers up to 325 km of electric-only range on the CLTC cycle, and top speed is 200 km/h. Electronics are also in focus, with three Turing chips quoted at a combined 2250 TOPS of compute.
