Porsche 911 GT3 90 F.A. Porsche: limited 90-unit homage
Porsche has added one of the rarest new entries to the 911 family: the 911 GT3 90 F.A. Porsche. Based on the 911 GT3 with the Touring Package, it’s limited to 90 units. The edition honors Ferdinand Alexander Porsche (F.A. Porsche), the designer behind the early 911 and several racing Porsches. The ‘90’ nods to his birth date—December 11, 1935—and in 2025 he would have turned 90.
The idea is to capture the look and spirit of F.A. Porsche’s own 911 from the 1980s (G-series/901 era), which wore Oak Green Metallic. In that vein, the anniversary car debuts an exclusive F.A. Green Metallic paint, teams it with black satin Sport Classic wheels featuring a center lock, and adds a gold ‘90 F.A. Porsche’ badge on the rear lid grille. The homage comes across as measured and respectful rather than a retro costume.
The cabin is trimmed in Club Leather in Truffle Brown and F.A. Grid fabric; according to the family, the pattern echoes F.A. Porsche’s favorite jacket. The theme runs through the details—from upholstery elements to special emblems with his signature and ‘ONE of 90’ marking, plus illuminated sill plates and door projectors. Even the sports chronograph has been reinterpreted in the style of Porsche Design’s Chronograph 1, which ties the story together neatly.
Production is handled by the Sonderwunsch division. One car is already assigned to Mark Porsche, and orders for the remaining 89 will open in April 2026. The price for Japan is set at 50.71 million yen, and a worldwide rush for allocations is expected—unsurprising given the concept and the tiny run.
