Nissan Aura NISMO RS Concept: e-POWER performance and aero overhaul

At the Tokyo motor show, Nissan unveiled one of its boldest recent projects—the Aura NISMO RS Concept. Conceived as a technical experiment, it pairs the compact format of the regular Aura NISMO with a serious hike in power and aero. The concept lifts the high-output e-POWER system from the X-Trail NISMO: 150 kW and 330 Nm at the front and 100 kW and 195 Nm at the rear, promising a thoroughly reworked performance character.

Visually, it stands apart with heavily widened fenders—an extra 145 mm in overall width—sitting 20 mm lower and backed by a suite of aerodynamic add-ons: a front splitter, side skirts, flow separators and a sizable rear diffuser. The Stealth Gray finish underscores its sporting intent. The suspension has been retuned, while the brakes move to four-piston front and two-piston rear calipers. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires and LM GT4 wheels round out the package, a combination that hints at genuine pace rather than show-stand theatrics.
