2026 Corvette Yenko/SC C8 debuts with 1,000–1,250 hp and a 50-car run
SVE has opened a new chapter for the storied Yenko name with a limited-run 2026 Corvette Yenko/SC C8. Just 50 cars will be built, each turning the Corvette C8 Stingray into a bona fide hypercar.
Two specifications are on offer: Stage I with 1,000 hp and Stage II with a towering 1,250 hp. Both start with the 6.2-liter LT2 V8, now boosted by a pair of Garrett turbochargers and strengthened from the inside out with a forged crankshaft, pistons, and connecting rods, plus revised cylinder heads and an intake system with an intercooler.
The setup supports E85, while a Boost-by-Gear system finely meters output by gear. The upgrades extend beyond the engine to the transmission, fuel system, and intake. A Yenko exhaust and signature interior treatment underscore the car’s uniqueness.
The Corvette Yenko/SC C8 will be available as a coupe or convertible with options for bespoke paint, carbon-fiber accents, and exclusive brakes. Pricing has not been announced, and orders go through GM dealers only. With such a small run, those interested would be wise not to wait.
This is more than a tune—it’s a revival of an American icon on a higher plane. The mid-engined C8 finally gains the ferocity it lacked from the factory, and on paper the hardware points not just to brute force but to control as well—exactly the balance a Yenko should deliver.
