Toyota GAZOO Racing begins 10th WRC season with updated GR Yaris at Rallye Monte-Carlo
Toyota GAZOO Racing World Rally Team kicks off its milestone 10th WRC season at the legendary Rallye Monte-Carlo. Coming off a record-breaking 2025, the team aims to defend its titles with an updated GR Yaris Rally1 featuring new aerodynamics, a reworked suspension, and a fresh red-and-white livery.
Sébastien Ogier heads to his home event as a nine-time champion and ten-time Monte-Carlo winner; a special GR Yaris edition celebrating his title will be unveiled before the start. Evans and Martin begin their seventh season with Toyota, while newcomer Oliver Solberg joins the manufacturer points-scoring drivers. Katsuta and Pajari are also competing under the team banner.
The young driver support program has been expanded: Yuki Yamamoto will contest a full WRC season in a GR Yaris Rally2. Seven such cars are entered for Monte-Carlo.
The rally route features night-time mountain special stages, snow and ice surfaces, and the return of a super special stage on the Monaco Grand Prix circuit—making it one of the toughest season openers for any manufacturer.
