Skoda launches new plus versions for Kylaq crossover with enhanced features

Skoda has revamped the trim structure of its Kylaq crossover, launching three new "plus" versions simultaneously. This update aims to provide clearer equipment differentiation and fill gaps between existing variants.

What the new versions offer

The base Classic+ trim now includes features previously unavailable in entry-level versions. Standard equipment includes a power sunroof, cruise control, steering wheel controls, rain sensors, and an auto-dimming mirror, along with 16-inch alloy wheels. The intermediate Signature+ trim borrows some equipment from the top specification, such as a rear wiper and paddle shifters on automatic models.

Prestige+ positioning and Sportline plans

Prestige+ remains the most expensive currently available version, offering the most comprehensive equipment package. Meanwhile, Skoda has confirmed another variant—Sportline—will launch in September, positioned above Prestige+. This model is expected to emphasize visual and possibly dynamic enhancements.

Pricing and strategy

The new trims cover a price range from $9,000 to $14,300 before taxes. All versions are available with either manual or automatic transmissions. This move allows Skoda to better target different customer segments without changing the product itself, instead redistributing value within the lineup.
