Ineos launches 2026 Grenadier lineup with Black Edition and updates

Ineos has launched the 2026 Grenadier lineup in the UK, keeping the base price unchanged from last year at £51,930 excluding VAT. The key highlight is the introduction of a special Black Edition, positioned as the flagship model starting from £71,995. The company has enhanced the comfort and everyday usability of the off-roader without compromising its fundamental utilitarian philosophy.

Technical and Equipment Updates

The Grenadier now features a revised steering system with improved precision and a 5% reduction in turning radius. The climate control has been refined, and the mandatory EU systems package includes new Intelligent Speed Assist and expanded ADAS functions. Ineos emphasizes that it has become easier to disable notifications, which matters for owners who value the vehicle's traditional character.

The powertrains and off-road capabilities remain unchanged to maintain the signature style of a "true" 4x4: simplicity, durability, and the ability to handle tough conditions without following trends.

New Black Edition: A Flagship with Dark Accents

Based on the Fieldmaster trim, the Black Edition stands out with exclusive styling. The full dark package includes glossy black 18-inch wheels, darkened lighting, a black grille, reinforced dark protective plates, and tinted windows. At the rear, there's a distinctive lockable spare wheel box. The only available body color is Inky Black.

The interior also follows the dark theme, with the ceiling, carpeting, and trim all coordinated to preserve the tactile, "tool-like" atmosphere of the Grenadier.

Pricing and Positioning in the Model Lineup

The base Grenadier Commercial starts at £51,930, the Quartermaster pickup from £62,495, while the Trialmaster and Fieldmaster are priced at £69,995. The Black Edition becomes the most expensive variant at a minimum of £71,995, pushing the model into the premium off-road segment.

Ineos notes that production of the Black Edition is not limited in volume but is time-restricted, adding an element of exclusivity.
