General Motors has unveiled in Mexico the new premium electric Cadillac Lyriq-V for the 2026 model year. The SUV uses a dual-motor setup with a combined 615 horsepower and 870 Nm of torque, hitting 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. On paper, that translates into a forceful, effortless surge that keeps the drive engaging even as speeds climb.

Beyond its punchy performance, the electric crossover offers a respectable driving range. According to the manufacturer, the Cadillac Lyriq-V can cover roughly 458 kilometers on a single charge—an impressive figure for a modern EV in this class and one that should ease routine long-haul trips.

Pricing starts at 1,999,000 Mexican pesos, or about $107,500. Cadillac has also put a dedicated sales and service framework in place: the Lyriq-V is available through an exclusive network of 19 certified Cadillac showrooms, each equipped with specialized fast-charging stations to quickly replenish the battery. Combined with the performance and range numbers, that infrastructure promises a straightforward ownership experience.
