Arcfox confirms upcoming premium MPV with hybrid powertrain

Arcfox has officially confirmed that the name of its first premium MPV will be announced soon. This new model marks a significant step for the brand, which has previously been associated mainly with crossovers and electric vehicles, moving Arcfox into the premium multi-purpose vehicle segment. The vehicle was first shown at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2025 and later appeared in the catalog of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

According to certification data, the MPV measures 5300 mm in length, 1980 mm in width, and 1850 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3200 mm. Its curb weight is listed at 2580 kg, with a gross weight of 3135 kg. The powertrain is designated as a range-extended plug-in hybrid.

Arcfox had previously revealed key technical features of the model. The minivan features distinctive lighting with a pulsating full-width light bar and a millisecond-response magnetorheological electromagnetic suspension. The company also highlights the world's first application of an integrated protective frame in an MPV, which is intended to enhance passive safety.

Arcfox's entry into the large hybrid MPV segment reflects a broader trend in the Chinese market, where such models are increasingly seen as alternatives to traditional business sedans and large SUVs, offering more space and flexibility in use.

For Arcfox, this MPV could become an image-defining product that strengthens the brand's position in the premium segment. Its large dimensions, hybrid powertrain, and unconventional technical solutions appear promising, but real buyer interest will depend directly on the price and equipment level of the production version.
