Updated Audi Q4 e-tron brings subtle design tweaks and a revamped interior

Audi’s Q4 e-tron, on sale since 2021, is preparing for its mid-cycle refresh. Recently spotted in Europe under camouflage, the facelift will launch as a 2027 model, reaching U.S. dealers in 2026.

Exterior updates include revised DRLs inspired by the Q6 e-tron, a new hexagonal mesh grille, and redesigned bumpers. The rear gains updated taillights and possibly a light bar connecting them. Subtle tweaks to the side skirts suggest aerodynamic improvements.

Inside, the crossover is expected to adopt Audi’s latest dual-screen layout, featuring an 11.9-inch digital cluster and a 14.5-inch curved touchscreen integrating HVAC controls.

Technically, the facelifted Q4 e-tron will move to the MEB+ platform, offering LFP battery options, improved motors, and faster charging. However, rear drum brakes remain a questionable carryover.

With U.S. pricing starting at $49,800 and range estimates of up to 288 miles, the Q4 e-tron faces declining sales, down 40% in early 2025. This facelift could be Audi’s opportunity to re-energize interest in its compact electric SUV.
