Volkswagen Caddy 2027 gets redesigned front end and new tech
Volkswagen continues its strategy of gradual reveals, offering only a partial glimpse of the updated Caddy for 2027. So far, only the front end has been shown, but it's clear that the commercial lineup is getting noticeable changes.
What's New in the Exterior
The new Caddy features a redesigned front end with updated lighting and LED graphics. The headlights look more modern and are visually connected by a light strip. The bumper has become more aggressive, giving the overall design a more dynamic feel. Wheel options have also been refreshed, ranging from 16 to 18 inches, adding some variety to the model.
What We Know About the Interior and Tech
The interior hasn't been fully revealed yet, but Volkswagen has confirmed a new multimedia system with a larger screen. Expect increased digitization and improved interfaces.
The model will keep its versatility, with versions including a van, passenger variant, extended Caddy Maxi, and camper Caddy California.
Engines and Launch Timeline
The powertrain lineup will remain the same—gasoline, diesel, and a PHEV hybrid with an electric range of up to 120 km. However, the engines will be modernized to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
The full official debut is expected in the coming months, with sales starting by late spring or early summer.
Volkswagen is betting on a gradual build-up of interest in the Caddy 2027. Already, it's evident that the model will receive an evolutionary update focused on technology and practicality, which matters a lot in the commercial segment.
