Hyundai Ioniq design refresh: Earth and Venus concepts preview 2026 models

Hyundai is preparing a design refresh for its Ioniq lineup and will introduce two concepts called Earth and Venus. The company has already released initial images that reveal the direction of future models.

One concept appears as a crossover with prominent wheel arches, suggesting development in the SUV segment. The other vehicle will likely be a coupe-like fastback. Final specifications for both models remain undisclosed.

Both new vehicles will feature a fresh lighting design with intersecting lines reminiscent of Lamborghini's style. In a notable shift, Hyundai will move away from the pixel lighting used in previous Ioniq models.

The design also emphasizes triangular shapes and improved aerodynamics. The concepts show a low body line and elements that enhance airflow efficiency.

The debut could take place at the Beijing Auto Show or during Milan Design Week in April 2026, though there's no official confirmation yet. Company representatives indicate that the new 2026 vehicles will have a more unified and recognizable style, while avoiding complete design replication across models.
