Honda ZR-V gets new style and personalization options in Japan
Honda has given its ZR-V crossover a light update for the Japanese market, introducing a new Cross Touring version and expanding its accessory catalog. At the same time, the company has offered an unusual solution to address the controversial radiator grille design, which had received mixed reactions.
Buyers can now swap the "toothy" look for a more classic appearance through an official customization package.
A New Style Instead of "Teeth"
The main change is the Premium Style kit from Honda Access, which completely transforms the front-end appearance. Vertical grille elements are replaced with horizontal ones, resulting in a more restrained design that aligns better with the brand's previous models.
The package also includes decorative elements in Berlina Black, new bumper inserts, and redesigned body details.
Expanded Personalization Options
Honda offers a wide range of exterior tuning options, including new 19-inch wheels, decorative trims, and aerodynamic elements. Additional accessories like spoilers, body protection parts, and LED fog lights are also available.
These solutions allow buyers to tailor the car's look to be either more aggressive or more classic.
Interior and Technology Updates
The interior gains an expanded list of options, including additional lighting, a new multimedia system with an 11.4-inch screen, and an upgraded audio system. Practical solutions are also on offer, ranging from protective covers to accessories for transporting pets.
Overall, the updated Honda ZR-V demonstrates an unusual approach where the manufacturer not only presents a new design but also offers a way to change it for an extra fee. This move highlights the growing importance of personalization in the crossover segment.
