Ford unveils electric Explorer Van for corporate customers
Ford has officially unveiled its new electric commercial van, the Explorer Van, specifically designed to meet the needs of European corporate customers requiring compact vehicles for transporting employees and small amounts of equipment and tools.
The vehicle is based on the platform of the electric Explorer SUV, adapted for commercial use. Inside, a sturdy polymer partition reliably separates the driver's area from the cargo zone, ensuring passenger safety and the security of transported materials even under extreme operating conditions.
The Explorer Van comes with two powertrain options: a rear-wheel-drive version producing 210 kilowatts (about 284 horsepower) and an all-wheel-drive variant with 250 kilowatts (approximately 339 hp). Both deliver strong performance and a high level of driving comfort.
Its fast-charging capability peaks at 135 kW, enabling quick battery replenishment. Ford claims an impressive maximum range of up to 602 kilometers on a single charge, offering owners greater freedom of movement and the ability to undertake long trips without frequent charging stops.
To enhance functionality, customers can opt for additional features and special accessory packages, including upgraded wheel designs, various business accessories, and extra equipment for specialized tasks. These solutions aim to make the vehicle more convenient and efficient, tailored to specific customer needs.
Overall, the new Ford Explorer Van presents itself as a compelling choice for companies in delivery services, customer support, technical event assistance, and many other commercial sectors where mobility, high performance, and environmental sustainability are key priorities.
