XPENG G6 arrives in Spain: WLTP range, charging, taxi-ready
Chinese automaker XPENG has unveiled the G6 electric crossover in Spain, and the model has received official approval for taxi service. It will be sold in two versions—Standard Range and Long Range—distinguished by battery capacity and overall driving range. The debut neatly targets urban fleets, where uptime and predictable running costs matter most.
The SR version carries a 65.34 kWh battery, offering up to 435 km on the WLTP cycle with an average consumption of 17.5 kWh per 100 km. It supports fast charging at up to 215 kW, a balanced set of figures for city duty where quick turnarounds can make a difference.
The LR model steps up to an 84 kWh battery, extending the WLTP range to 570 km. Consumption is rated at 17.9 kWh per 100 km, and peak charging reaches 280 kW, allowing the battery to reach 80% in around 21 minutes. For fleet operators, that mix of capacity and charging speed should help keep cars circulating with minimal downtime.
