On April 24, 2026, at the Beijing auto show, Cadillac unveiled its fastest and most technologically advanced electric vehicle for the Chinese market — the 2026 Lyriq-V.

The Chinese-spec Lyriq-V gets dual-motor all-wheel drive, with 183 kW on the front axle and 260 kW on the rear, for a combined 595 hp (the U.S.-market version is rated at 615 hp). The crossover is fitted with a new three-component battery from SAIC-GM, and it takes just 3.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, making it the quickest Cadillac in the brand’s history. Peak torque reaches 881 Nm, while claimed range is about 460 km on the EPA cycle.

Visually, the Chinese Lyriq-V differs from the American version with a less aggressive front bumper, larger mirrors and 21-inch wheels instead of 22-inch items. The body keeps the signature Cadillac look, but with a stronger emphasis on aerodynamics and a premium feel.

Inside, the newcomer makes a strong impression with its technology: a huge 33-inch curved display, power-adjustable front-seat cushions, exclusive V-Series graphics and premium trim materials. Nearly all controls are handled via touch panels, while driver and passengers get a high level of comfort and digital integration.
