The True Dragon Plug-in Hybrid Pro system combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering up to 375 hp. Depending on the version, it uses either a 1.5T engine or a naturally aspirated 1.5. A 32.6 kWh battery provides up to 235 km of electric range under the CLTC cycle.

Total range is claimed at up to 1,630 km. The model also features an adaptive suspension with electronic control, analyzing road conditions up to 500 times per second.

The Electra E7 is part of Buick’s strategy to expand its electrified lineup in the Chinese market.
