Volvo reveals updated S90 and S60 sedans in Beijing

At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Volvo presented updated versions of the S90 and S60 sedans. Both models keep the brand’s familiar Scandinavian character, while adding a series of visual and technology changes.

The flagship Volvo S90 is marked out by a redesigned front end with a new grille and revised lighting. The rear lamps and bumper details have also been updated. Inside, the focus is on premium materials and modern multimedia features, including a large display and expanded driver-assistance functions.

The smaller Volvo S60 follows the same design direction, with updated lighting, reworked bumpers and new wheel designs. The car is aimed at a more dynamic audience, while retaining Volvo’s emphasis on comfort and safety.

Both models traditionally feature modern Volvo active safety systems, including lane-keeping and collision-avoidance assistants. Hybrid powertrains are planned depending on the market.

The debut of the updated sedans underlines Volvo’s strategy of keeping classic models in its range while actively developing electric vehicles.
