GM Addresses Wireless Charging Issue in the 2026 Buick Enclave

General Motors has issued a service bulletin for the 2026 Buick Enclave crossover. The document covers an issue in which the wireless charging system may appear to be active even when no device is placed on the charging pad.

According to GM, the infotainment screen may occasionally display a charging icon, or the indicator may “flash,” despite there being no smartphone on the pad. The cause is a software incompatibility between the A11 radio module and the wireless charging module.

The fix follows a standard procedure. Technicians first check whether the radio system software is up to date. The fault is then confirmed, after which the T22 wireless charging module must be replaced. The new component is reprogrammed through GM’s proprietary system to ensure proper operation.

The procedure is carried out at a dealer and is intended for certified specialists. Owners are advised to contact a service center for diagnostics and to confirm whether warranty repair is available. Cases like this show that even new 2026 vehicles can face software incompatibilities that require manufacturer-side updates or revisions.
