GMC Hummer EV SUV gains an exclusive Magnus Gray Matte finish

GMC Hummer EV SUV continues to stand out not only for its specifications, but also for its design. In its latest version, the model receives one of its most dramatic visual updates yet: the matte Magnus Gray Matte finish. The color is not offered separately; it is included in the Carbon Fiber Edition package, available only for the Hummer EV 3X.

That leaves the base trims without this striking treatment, making it even more exclusive. The new shade uses a restrained matte gray finish that emphasizes the electric SUV’s mass and assertive character.

Visually, the Hummer becomes even more imposing, with an almost military edge. It is paired only with the Velocity Ember interior, which limits configuration choices but gives the model a stronger sense of design cohesion.

The Carbon Fiber Edition package is priced at $16,300, placing it firmly among premium options. Along with the paint finish, buyers get distinctive trim elements and improved dynamic performance, including quicker acceleration.

Mechanically, the model remains unchanged. It is based on the GM BT1 platform, developed specifically for electric pickups and SUVs. Production continues at Factory Zero, where the group’s most technologically advanced models are assembled.

Hummer EV has long since stopped being just an SUV; it is an image product. Details such as an exclusive matte color only strengthen that status. The question is no longer simply which vehicle has the better specifications, but which one creates the stronger emotional pull.
