Lexus ES 350h: hybrid sedan starts at $51,095, almost level with the electric ES 350e

Lexus is preparing to launch sales of the 2026 model year ES 350h hybrid in the United States. According to American media, the sedan will reach dealers in June with a price tag from $51,095 including destination. For comparison, the electric ES 350e is listed on the Lexus website from $48,895 — meaning the hybrid and the EV land almost level.

The ES 350h rides on the new generation of the ES, the first one to come not only with hybrid powertrains but also with fully electric variants. The car is built at the Toyota Kyushu plant in Japan, and the US gets the hybrid in either front- or all-wheel drive.

The powertrain pairs a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated Atkinson-cycle engine with the sixth generation of the Lexus Hybrid System. Combined output stands at 244 hp. According to Lexus estimates, fuel consumption of the front-drive version can reach 5.1 l/100 km, while the AWD model is rated at roughly 5.3 l/100 km.

Standard equipment includes the Lexus Safety System+ 4.0 suite, a 14-inch infotainment display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Premium+ trims start from $55,895, while the Premium+ AWD opens at $57,295.

Among the 2026 newcomers, the Lexus ES 350h is notable because the hybrid still keeps the familiar sedan format — yet on price it now sits almost level with the electric model from the same family.
