Lamborghini appears to be readying an open-top version of its rare Fenomeno hypercar. The marque has posted a teaser on social media showing the car from the front, with a caption limited to vague references to style and exclusivity. The Roadster name has not been confirmed officially, but a source believes this is indeed the version without a fixed roof.

The conclusion looks logical. Last year, Lamborghini unveiled the Fenomeno Coupe — the most powerful and fastest car in the marque's history. The coupe is being built in a run of 29 units, all of them with closed bodywork. At the same time, Lamborghini has a tradition of releasing open-top versions of its rare special models, so a Fenomeno Roadster would hardly come as a surprise.

The reveal date has not been announced. Lamborghini's post says only «soon». According to the source, the roadster could be shown in the very near future — at the marque's anniversary event in Imola. In 2026 Lamborghini is celebrating its 63rd birthday: the company was founded in 1963.

Mechanically, the Fenomeno Roadster is likely to be very close to the coupe. The closed version uses a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 working alongside a hybrid system. One electric motor assists the rear wheels, while two more drive the front axle. Combined output stands at 1,065 hp. The coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, with a top speed in excess of 349 km/h (217 mph).

The open version's figures may differ slightly because of the changed roof structure and aerodynamics. The production run has not been confirmed, but the source expects the same 29 units as the coupe. No price has been disclosed officially: foreign reports cited a base figure of around $3.5 million for the coupe.
