The updated BYD Atto 3 Evo electric crossover will go on sale in Australia before the end of this year, treating fans of the brand to an expanded feature set and improved technical specs. The car will be offered in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, with single-charge range climbing significantly — up to 510 kilometres. Fast charging on the BYD Atto 3 Evo has become noticeably quicker: the battery can be topped up from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes.

The technical highlights of the updated EV look like this: peak motor output has risen to 230 kilowatts, and the 0–100 km/h sprint has been cut to 5.5 seconds. The all-wheel-drive version offers even more — the motors deliver 330 kilowatts and push the car to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

The manufacturer has paid attention not only to the hardware but also to the exterior of the BYD Atto 3 Evo and to interior comfort. The front and rear bumpers have been revised, the wheels get a fresh design, and the cabin features a redesigned centre tunnel and a modern digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system has also been noticeably updated and now comes with a larger screen.

Pricing for the BYD Atto 3 Evo in Australia has not yet been officially announced, but analysts expect it to land above the current line-up, which ranges from 39,990 to 44,990 Australian dollars. More precise figures should emerge closer to the official sales launch.
