Inside the Porsche Cayenne Electric: AR head-up display, passenger screen, mood modes
Porsche has unveiled the interior of the new Cayenne Electric SUV, due in 2026 and billed as the most technologically advanced model in the brand’s history. At the heart of the Porsche Digital Interaction concept are up to four displays: a 14.25-inch OLED instrument cluster with the marque’s signature five-dial look, a large curved central screen, and an optional 14.9-inch passenger display. That passenger screen can handle navigation and media, including video, with a polarized image that stays out of the driver’s view. Despite the screen count, the layout comes across as intentionally driver-focused.
Among the highlights is an augmented-reality head-up display that presents as an 87-inch image, plus intelligent “Mood Modes” that tune lighting, cabin temperature, and the audio setup to suit the moment. The panoramic roof features adjustable transparency, and heating extends even to the armrests and door panels—touchpoints that often go overlooked.
Customers will be able to choose from up to 13 interior color combinations and materials such as Race-Tex or the iconic Pepita fabric. The result is a Cayenne Electric that blends cutting-edge interfaces with generous personalization, keeping the brand’s character intact in the electric era. It signals an intent to make the shift to EVs feel familiar rather than forced.
