Las Vegas police have put new Tesla Cybertrucks on duty, upgraded by Unplugged Performance. The department took delivery of ten electric pickups, each equipped for patrol work and special operations.

Sheriff Kevin McMahill earlier said the agency would deploy the Cybertruck as a SWAT vehicle, noting that its body design would keep officers protected even from gunfire. The vehicles were donated to the department by businessman Ben Horowitz. As fleet decisions go, it reads like a confident bet on electric trucks built for real work.
