Ford Maverick, which debuted on the North American market in 2022, quickly drew attention with its attainable price and frugal fuel economy, turning into a bestseller among pickups. Notably, many buyers had previously owned passenger cars and compact SUVs from other brands before deciding on a new Ford—evidence that the formula struck a chord.

By September 2025, sales of the Ford Maverick had surpassed 34,000 units, a 10.9% increase. Just as telling, about 60 percent of new Maverick owners had never purchased a Ford before, a clear sign of the model’s broad appeal and the confidence it inspires among first-time Ford customers.
