The most anticipated luxury EVs of 2026: power, tech, comfort
The next few years look pivotal for the premium electric car segment. Several long-awaited models from leading brands are gearing up to debut, aiming to set a new bar for the blend of power, technology, and comfort. The outlet Tarantas News has laid out its ranking of next year’s standouts.
First on the list is the Alfa Romeo Stelvio EV—the electric version of the popular crossover, built on the Stellantis STLA Large platform. Two electric motors delivering up to 670 hp promise the brand’s trademark agility, while the cabin emphasizes quality finishes and modern digital services.
Another headline debut is the Ferrari Elettrica EV. The brand’s first fully electric sports car is expected to offer around 1,000 hp, a unique powertrain, and advanced ways to channel emotion behind the wheel—from tactile feedback to a signature sound accompaniment.
Hyundai Motor Group’s flagship, the Genesis GV90, promises up to 640 km on a single charge and ultrafast charging, complemented by autonomous driving technologies. This model is poised to take on European leaders in the premium class.
Finally, the Mercedes-AMG GT EV will carry the legendary AMG coupe into the electric era. Three motors and more than 1,300 hp enable a 0–100 km/h sprint in under two seconds, turning the car into a machine built for the circuit.
One takeaway is clear: the luxury EVs on the horizon are no longer just eco-minded transport, but full-fledged flagships of technology and emotion—cars ready to reset expectations for speed and comfort.
