One screen before parking — and the whole FSD experience suddenly feels calmer
Tesla refined the parking UI in FSD Supervised v14.3.1: tapping the arrow opens the arrival options menu directly, removing extra navigation steps.
Tesla has rolled out a small but noticeable update to FSD Supervised: the parking interface is now clearer the moment the car approaches its destination. Drivers see the available stopping options faster and can tell which scenario the vehicle is about to pick.
FSD v14 already added the ability to choose an arrival point: parking lot, street, driveway, garage or curbside. In v14.3.1, Tesla refined access to those settings — tapping the arrow inside the parking interface now opens the parking options menu instantly. A small thing, but it’s precisely small things like this that decide whether the driver will trust the car with the final manoeuvre or nervously disengage 20 metres before the goal.
The logic is clear. Auto-parking has long been one of the most contentious parts of FSD: the car could confidently handle a complex route, but at the very end the driver was still left guessing where exactly it would stop. The new interface reduces that uncertainty. The car isn’t just «doing something» — it shows its intention in advance.
This is still not full autonomy. Tesla continues to call the system FSD Supervised: the driver must watch the road, stay in control of the situation and be ready to intervene. But for owners, the difference is felt not in legal wording but in the daily routine: get to the address, pick a parking spot, no hunting for hidden menu items and no arguing with the car at the last second.
For premium electric cars, what matters now is not just the range, but how the vehicle improves after purchase. Software has become part of the price tag, and an update like this one is exactly the kind of post-sale value buyers increasingly look for.
Tesla once again shows that modern cars compete on more than just hardware. Sometimes the entire difference comes down to a single clear screen before parking.
