Jeep Compass Track Edition launched in India: features, price

Jeep India has unveiled the limited-run Compass Track Edition, based on the range-topping Model S. The special variant fuses the brand’s off-road character with upscale trim and exclusive design flourishes.

On the outside, the Compass Track Edition stands out with a unique hood graphic, glossy Piano Black accents on the grille and badges, and a dedicated Track Edition emblem. The 18-inch diamond-cut Tech Grey wheels tighten up the SUV’s stance, giving it a more purposeful, polished look without straying from its rugged brief.

Inside, the cabin is finished in genuine Tupelo leather with contrasting Spruce Beige stitching, complemented by Dark Espresso Smoke Chrome trim and a Cortina leather-wrapped steering wheel. Floor mats bearing the Track Edition logo and Jeep embossing on the seats complete the space, and the mix of materials noticeably lifts the ambiance.

Power comes from the proven 2.0‑liter MultiJet II diesel rated at 170 hp and 350 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic, in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. It’s a familiar setup that suits the Compass well on and off the road.

Equipment includes more than 50 safety systems such as ESC, Hill Start Assist, and Traction Control, plus the Uconnect 5 infotainment system with a 10.1-inch display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, an Alpine audio system, and a panoramic sunroof. The spec sheet reads cohesive and contemporary.

Sales of the Jeep Compass Track Edition are now underway in India. The starting price is about 2.45 million rubles at the current exchange rate, while the top 4x4 version comes in at around 2.8 million rubles.
