Five New Chevrolet Models Debut in Chile, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador
General Motors has announced a major update for Chevrolet in South America, launching five new models simultaneously in Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador — the markets that form the company’s Pacific Cluster region.
At the Chevrolet 360 event in Lima, GM revealed the all-new 2026 Spark EUV, refreshed Onix and Tracker, plus two newcomers: the Chevy Groove and Captiva EV. The rollout begins this month with the Spark EUV, followed by the Onix and Tracker in September. Both the Groove and Captiva EV will reach showrooms before the end of 2025.
According to Raul Mier, GM South America’s Commercial Director for the Pacific Cluster, the strategy combines «intelligent design, advanced technology, and strong performance.» The push also highlights Chevrolet’s commitment to electrification, with Spark EUV and Captiva EV targeting the entry-level EV segment to expand sustainable mobility in the region.
This multi-model launch strengthens Chevrolet’s presence in key markets, aligning with consumer demand and reinforcing its competitiveness across South America.
