Toyota Sienta Modellista body kits: prices, styles and ground clearance
The Toyota Sienta keeps two Modellista styling lines after its August update: BRIGHT TECH ELEGANCE chrome aero kits for up to 202,400 yen and the URBAN TECH GEAR cross style for 160,600 yen. The aero parts cut ground clearance by up to 47 mm.
The Toyota Sienta has kept two completely different factory Modellista styling lines after its August update. One makes the compact minivan look more upscale thanks to chrome, while the other turns it into something resembling an urban crossover. These are not new Sienta versions, though: the accessories existed before and simply stayed in the catalog after the refresh.
The most expensive aero package — BRIGHT TECH ELEGANCE in its B set — costs 202,400 yen. It includes a front spoiler, side skirts, rear spats and an exhaust tip. The simpler A set, which omits the last item, is priced at 171,600 yen.
That kind of decor has a practical price. The front spoiler sits about 25 mm lower than the standard body, the side skirts are 15 mm lower, and the rear spats cut the distance to the road by roughly 47 mm. For a car built for family duty, curbs and tight parking spots, this can prove more noticeable than the extra chrome.
The second style is called URBAN TECH GEAR. For 160,600 yen, Toyota offers a grille garnish, protective elements front and rear, and black door handle trim. Here the emphasis is no longer on a “premium” feel but on the visual image of a compact SUV. The manufacturer itself describes this variant as an urban cross style.
The updated Sienta went on sale in Japan on August 3. Toyota added a Clear Beige Metallic color, switched the mirror caps to black, and E-Four versions received a standard cold-weather package. Prices range from 2,146,100 to 3,397,900 yen, and fuel economy is 18.0 to 28.4 km/L on the WLTC cycle depending on the powertrain.
There is also a more practical way to change this Toyota’s character: a removable VANLIFE ROOMKIT for the seven-seat Sienta provides a sleeping berth up to 192 cm long. And a similar accessory price trap is familiar from the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ with its Modellista and ARB catalogs.
So the “luxurious Sienta” from the Japanese headlines is more of an eye-catching styling exercise than a separate, pricier version. Buyers really can choose between a chrome look and a pseudo-off-road one, but the mechanicals stay the same — and the most striking aero kit comes with a very real compromise in body geometry.
