Mercedes-Benz CLA electric 2026: Korea price, range and charging specs
Mercedes-Benz has opened Korean orders for the new electric CLA. Prices start at 52.9 million won, with CLA 200 and CLA 250+ versions offering up to 792 km WLTP range.
Mercedes-Benz began taking orders in South Korea on September 1 for the new-generation electric CLA. Prices start at 52.9 million won and rise to 67.7 million won. The first cars are scheduled to reach customers in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The Korean range includes the CLA 200 electric and CLA 250+ electric in five trims. The first produces 165 kW, or about 224 PS, and can travel up to 542 km on the WLTP cycle. The CLA 250+ delivers 200 kW, or about 272 PS, and up to 792 km. That latter figure is specifically a European WLTP result; a separate certified Korean range figure has not been published in the available data.
Both versions use an 800-volt architecture. The CLA 200 electric supports DC fast charging at up to 200 kW and can replenish the battery from 10 to 80% in about 20 minutes. The CLA 250+ accepts up to 320 kW, while the stated 10-to-80% charging time is around 22 minutes.
The pricing is especially notable. Mercedes-Benz is also starting Korean sales of the CLA 220 with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system in September, priced from 59.9 million won. That makes the entry-level electric CLA 7 million won cheaper. It is not a like-for-like trim comparison, however, because the electric range includes a simpler Essential version.
The CLA is the first Mercedes-Benz model based on the new MMA platform. Its wheelbase has grown by 61 mm compared with its predecessor, while the electric versions gain a 101-liter front trunk. The electronics are built around the new MB.OS operating system. MBUX Superscreen availability depends on trim, so the three-display setup should not be assumed to be standard across the entire electric range.
Buyers of the electric CLA in Korea will also receive one year of the PLUS tariff for the MB.CHARGE Public service.
