Only €3,000 separates the rear-wheel-drive Skoda Peaq 90 from the all-wheel-drive Peaq 90x now added to the Dutch range. The Business Edition is priced at €57,990, while the Peaq 90 costs €54,990. In other words, the second electric motor adds €3,000 to the price.

For that money, output rises from 286 to 299 hp, the 0–100 km/h time drops from 7.1 to 6.7 seconds, and the maximum braked towing capacity increases from 1,800 to 2,000 kg. An asynchronous electric motor drives the front axle, while the rear motor remains a permanent-magnet synchronous unit. Skoda quotes 545 Nm and a top speed of 180 km/h.

The trade-off for all-wheel drive is range. The Peaq 90 can cover up to 646 km WLTP, while Skoda quotes more than 610 km for the 90x. The battery has a gross capacity of 91 kWh. Charging from 10 to 80% takes about 28 minutes.

Importantly, the Peaq 90x itself is not a September 1 premiere: Skoda revealed this powertrain during the model's global debut in June. What is new now is its appearance in the brand's Dutch price list. Series production of the Peaq started in Mladá Boleslav in August, while the June premiere also detailed its seven-seat layout, large luggage compartment and bidirectional charging.

The Peaq 90x Sportline costs €62,990. Orders are already open, but all-wheel-drive cars will not reach Dutch showrooms until mid-January 2027.
