Cadillac Escalade IQ 2026: cameras, climate controls and Super Cruise technology
GM says Escalade IQ owners value practical tech such as camera views, a dedicated climate screen, comfort and driver-profile personalization alongside the 55-inch display.
The Cadillac Escalade IQ stands out for its huge dashboard-spanning display, but GM’s own research suggests that much more practical features also shape the experience of the electric SUV. The company highlights cameras, climate controls, comfort and driver-profile personalization.
A telling example is the separate climate-control screen. It lets occupants change the temperature and other settings without digging through the infotainment menus. Side cameras activated with the turn signal help monitor blind spots, while additional views are designed for maneuvering in tight spaces. GM notes that some camera functions are limited to low speeds.
At the same time, the Escalade IQ remains one of Cadillac’s most digital vehicles. On the 2026 model, the 55-inch Horizon Display and Super Cruise are standard even on the Luxury trim. U.S. pricing starts at $127,405. Super Cruise includes a three-year OnStar One plan.
Not every technology mentioned by GM is available on every Escalade IQ. For example, power-opening and power-closing doors are fitted to the more expensive Premium Luxury and Premium Sport trims rather than the entry versions.
The main limitation of the research is that it comes from GM itself. The company says the Escalade IQ scored noticeably better than rivals for user experience, but the published material does not disclose the sample size, methodology or the list of vehicles used for comparison. The findings therefore help explain Cadillac’s interface choices more than they independently prove superiority over competitors.
