The 2026 Denza Z9S will launch in China on September 23. The electric sedan is already available to pre-order in three versions with preliminary prices from 319,800 to 389,800 yuan. However, the car’s two headline figures — 1,100 km of range and 1,210 hp — apply to different configurations rather than a single car.
Denza Z9S range: 1,100 km CLTC for the 349,800-yuan version
The Flash Charging Flagship version, priced at 349,800 yuan, delivers the longest claimed range: up to 1,100 km on the CLTC cycle. Denza describes this figure as a record for a series-production battery-electric vehicle. The entry-level version at 319,800 yuan is rated for 920 km.
1,210 hp and 0–100 km/h in 2.68 seconds
The range-topping Z9S with the e³ system takes a different approach. Three electric motors produce a combined 890 kW, or about 1,210 hp, while acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.68 seconds. Its range is lower at 780 km CLTC. In other words, the strongest performance and the longest range are split between different versions.
Denza Z9S dimensions and equipment
The Z9S is a large four-door electric sedan measuring 5,090 mm long with a 3,025 mm wheelbase. Equipment includes DiSus-A air suspension, rear-wheel steering, frameless doors and the God’s Eye 5.0 driver-assistance suite. Rear-wheel steering also helps reduce the turning radius, with 4.75 m claimed for the top version.
Denza Z9S China launch date and prices
By September 5, demonstrator Z9S cars were already available at 334 showrooms across 166 cities in China. Following the opening of pre-orders on August 3 and its debut at the Chengdu motor show, the model is now moving into its full market launch.
Final prices are expected on September 23. For now, the guide remains 319,800–389,800 yuan, with buyers effectively choosing between the maximum 1,100 km CLTC range and the 890 kW three-motor system capable of 0–100 km/h in 2.68 seconds.
