Alfa Romeo concept for Paris: reveal date and what the brand has confirmed
Alfa Romeo has confirmed a new concept for Paris, with a full reveal set for October 12. The brand has not disclosed its name, body style, platform or powertrain.
The lineup of nine Stellantis concepts for the Paris Motor Show is becoming clearer. On September 17, Alfa Romeo officially confirmed its own experimental model and called it a “manifesto for the future” of the brand. The premiere will take place on October 12 at an Alfa Romeo press conference.
The announcement came just one day after Stellantis published its overall show program. On September 16, the group said it would bring nine concept cars from eight brands and more than 60 vehicles, but the Alfa Romeo section listed only the production Junior, Tonale, Giulia, Stelvio and 33 Stradale, plus the historic Spider Duetto. The new concept was not identified separately at that time.
For now, Alfa Romeo is deliberately withholding the car’s name, body style, platform and powertrain. It is therefore too early to link the prototype to the future Giulia, Stelvio or any other specific production model. The manufacturer has confirmed only its role: the concept is meant to show the next direction for the brand’s design and sporting character. Its image is built around three themes — Italy, sportiness and Alfa Romeo’s traditional red color.
The premiere already has a broader product context. In May, Alfa Romeo officially announced an expansion of its lineup, including a future C-SUV on STLA Medium, a C-segment hatchback on STLA ONE and a new low-volume Bottegafuoriserie project. The current Giulia and Stelvio are expected to remain in production until 2027. However, the company has not said that the Paris show car is a direct prototype of any of these vehicles.
The key new detail will therefore emerge on October 12: that is when it should become clear whether the “manifesto for the future” is limited to a new design language or also previews solutions Alfa Romeo intends to bring to its next production cars.
